GymLedger Privacy Policy

Information Collection and Use

Local Data Storage: All your workout data, including routines, exercises, workout logs, and settings, is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud backup.

We do NOT collect:

• Personal identification information
• Email addresses
• Location data
• Usage analytics
• Advertising identifiers
• Any data for marketing purposes

iCloud Backup (Optional)

If you enable iCloud on your device, your GymLedger data may be included in your iCloud backup. This is controlled by your device settings and Apple's iCloud service. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

HealthKit Data

GymLedger can read walking/running distance and sleep data from Apple HealthKit to display in the app. This data is:

• Only accessed with your explicit permission
• Only used to display information within the app
• Never transmitted to any server
• Never shared with third parties

Progress Photos

GymLedger allows you to save progress photos. These photos are stored locally on your device, accessed only when you explicitly choose to add or view them, never uploaded to any server, and never shared with third parties.

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties. Period. Your workout data remains entirely on your device (and in your personal iCloud account if you have iCloud backup enabled).

Data Security

Your data is protected by Apple's iOS security framework, your device passcode/Face ID/Touch ID, and Apple's iCloud encryption (if using iCloud backup). Since data is stored locally, your information is as secure as your device itself.

Data Deletion

Your data remains on your device until you choose to delete it. You can delete your data at any time by deleting individual workouts, exercises, or programs within the app, or by deleting the app from your device.

Children's Privacy

GymLedger does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.

Third-Party Services

GymLedger does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app functions entirely offline and does not make network requests except for optional iCloud sync handled by Apple's frameworks.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
